I've found that the best way for small business to look at social media is as an extension to their networking, web site and other advertising - not a replacement. Too many small business owners are looking for the "next big thing" in marketing, looking for the magic before they fully implement the "last big thing". A consistent, integrated approach to marketing is still the best approach. Oh, and speaking of networking, the lawyer's name in yesterday's session was Stephen Lofaso:-) (www.lofasopllc.com) and he's right here in the Gainesville Business Resource Center.
